Hans Zoller and Hans Fröhlich founded Z+F in a former coal cellar
in Wangen im Allgäu

1966
Move to Simoniusstrasse 22 in Wangen/Allgäu, which still is the
headquarters

1969
Invention of the insulated ferrule

1977
Hans Zoller passes away unexpectedly. Hans Fröhlich leads the company
by himself and expands the company in all areas - also internationally

1983
The first crimp machine for the processing of ferrules was invented

1991
Development of the first twin ferrule

1993
Dr.-Ing. Christoph Fröhlich joins the company

1994
Invention of the first laser scanner for railway measurements

1996
Development of the first visual 3D laser scanner for the
documentation of 3D objects

1998
Foundation of Z+F USA, Inc. in Pittsburgh (USA) and Z+F wins the innovations award "Dr.-Rudolf-Eberle-Preis" for the 3D visual laser scanner

Foundation of Z+F UK Ltd. in Manchester (United Kingdom)

CSA-US-Certification for Z+F ferrules

Innovations award of the administrative district of Ravensburg for the
