The Z+F TopCam was developed to significantly accelerate the process of color data capture. It offers two modes: the Fast-Mode and the Pro-Mode.
In Pro-Mode, six images of the same scene are captured with different exposure times per shot to achieve a neutral result, even in conditions with highly variable lighting. The capture time in this mode is 30 seconds.
In Fast-Mode, only one image is taken per shot, reducing the capture time to just 12 seconds. By comparison, the integrated i-Cam of the Z+F IMAGER® 5024 Supreme and Z+F IMAGER® 5016 requires 150 seconds for an HDR panorama.
The Z+F TopCam features three capture positions, allowing it to capture the entire environment with a resolution of 60 megapixels. The images are almost parallax-free but do not match the precision of the i-Cam.
Another advantage of the Z+F TopCam is its easy installation. The camera can be mounted effortlessly and is automatically recognized by the scanner, making its operation particularly straightforward and efficient.
The Z+F TopCam is compatible with the following scanners:
