Creation of orthophotos directly from ZF databases (ZFDB)
LaserControl 12.0 allows orthophotos to be generated directly from ZFDB databases for the first time.
Creation of sectional views based on ZFDB data
Sections can now also be generated entirely from database content.
More stable optimization in challenging environments:
Data sets that previously only produced greatly reduced results during optimization can now be calculated more reliably.
Optimization of SLAM data sets with static scans:
Starting with version 12.0, multiple static scans can be used as reference frames to reduce even larger drifts across the entire project.
This enhancement enables a more efficient combination of static scans and mobile FlexScan data.
As part of the new maintenance concept, the SynCaT license structure has also been significantly simplified.
New license logic
| Until now (Version 11.0) | New from Version 12.0 |
|---|---|
SynCaT Basic (inkl. Color) | SynCaT |
SynCaT Basic (inkl. Color) SynCaT Calibration SynCaT Correction | SynCaT Premium |
New filters for fewer disturbing pixels behind vegetation.
Possibility of correcting meridian convergence.
SynCaT now supports convergence calculation of data—an important step for precise geodetic applications.
Simultaneous external calibration of two Z+F PROFILER® for better results.
Simplified retrieval of point properties in SynCaT.
With the release of firmware 2.0, the Z+F FlexScan is also fully integrated into the maintenance concept.
Support for SPEED++
The FlexScan can now take full advantage of the increased scanning speed of the Z+F IMAGER 5024 Advanced and Supreme.
Advantages: faster data acquisition, denser point clouds, higher reliability.
Note: To use the speed upgrade, a hardware conversion of the Z+F FlexScan is required.

Enhanced mobile point cloud viewer
The web interface now offers comprehensive live feedback:
Visualization of the complete slam run
Full 3D exploration: move, rotate, zoom
Transparency mode
Transparency mode improves visibility in complex scenes. Especially when taking pictures in winding areas or across multiple floors, it enables easy and quick visualization of the point cloud directly on site.

Density Color Mode
The new Density color mode visualizes the estimated point cloud resolution and provides the user with immediate feedback on whether all relevant surfaces and areas have been sufficiently captured.
Direct data streaming
Data is now streamed directly to the platform during the SLAM run. The downstream transfer time is eliminated, reducing the total scan time by approximately 10–15%.
With the release of the new version 12.0, maintenance of Z+F LaserControl® (Office and Scout) as well as firmware versions 11.0 and older will be discontinued.
Our sales department will be happy to inform you about your options and upgrade possibilities.
