With feature A, which stands for Advanced, the 5016 receives twice as high scan rate of up to 2.187 million pixels/second. The increased scan rate makes it possible to capture the environment with a much higher resolution. This allows more details such as surface structures and geometries to be identify and processed at greater distances.
The IMU which takes an important part of the position tracking in the blue workflow®, now works also on the levelling in combination with the Dynamic Compensator. It will automatically correct the tilt in case the Dynamic Compensator is deactivated or the inclination is out of range, such as in upside down configuration. It extends the application cases of the blue workflow® by providing automatically a sufficient start value about the inclination.

The Z+F IMAGER® 5016A measures 2.187 million pixel / second and can therefore record the environment in a much higher resolution than the 5016.
The IMU integrated in the scanner optimizes leveling in combination with the Dynamic Compensator.
In the course of the IMU expansion, the accuracy of the scanner navigation itself has also been significantly improved and with it the accuracy of the automatic registration.
